Powerpoint

Powerpoint is often used as by students to create presentations. This takes a great deal of time. The activities below are examples of powerpoint activities that do not take up so much time. In each case a student is given a presentation and asked to add speakers notes, unjumble the presentation,edit,or complete the presentation. The source files are listed below so students can change the graphs if the wish.

Unjumble the talk

Download the file Inflation05_J1.zip. The slides in this presentation are not in proper order. Use powerpoint outline view or the slide sorter to put these in the proper order. Inflation05_J1.zip

Seriously Jumbled Talk

The slides in this file are broken into pieces and students are required to reconstruct the presentation. Here download the file Inflation_05_J2.zip and decompress it. Copy the slideshow. Create a new powerpoint slide show and cut and paste from your copy of inflation 05 into the new file. All spreadhseets and pictures used to create this show are available on the right. Inflation_05_J2.zip

Edit a Presentation

Download the file Inflation05_edita.zip and decompress this file. Open the powerpoint file and read it carefully. Copy the file, correct the errors in the presentation. You may have to change the order of some of the files. Inflation05_edita.zip

Complete the Presentation

Download the zip file AIRBUS_A380_pkg.zip. Decompress this file. Watch the video contained in the presentation and complete the activities on slide 2 of the show. Extra Airbus resources
